Chat Room Rules

By signing up for an account, and entering this chat room, you consent to the following rules, and conditions of use. Users breaking the rules may be asked to leave the chat rooms, removed by moderators or even banned.

Please note: Any members who choose to get counselling here do so at their own risk, Walk With Spirit cannot be held responsible for any counselling they are given.

1. Members must be 18 years or older.
2. Members are asked to follow our strict "No Swearing" policy at all times.
3. Members should refrain from making political, racial, sexist or homophobic comments that others would find offensive.
4. Members should respect other members and Moderators at all times.
5. Members must not use any sexual explicit chat at any time.
6. Members must not register a "user name" that could be considered offensive in any way.
7. All room logs and P2P (person to person) logs are recorded for your own protection.
8. Any members that choose to receive a reading at this site do so at their own risk. Walk With Spirit cannot be held responsible for any information given by any of the readers at this site.
9. Readings in P2P (person to person) are not permitted. Any readings should be done in the assigned reading rooms.
10. Members not known to owners or moderators are not permitted to read at this site without seeking permission from the owners or moderators.
11. When members register at this site, they must only register one user name.
12. Members are asked not to post URL's, links to files, or advertise in chat rooms without seeking prior permission from the owners or moderators.
13. Members are advised not to divulge personal information, such as address, phone number username, passwords etc
14. Members are reminded that they should enjoy themselves at all times! People found breaking this rule are likely to be cheered up by other members. You have been warned :)

Registering for Chatrooms

When trying to use the Chatrooms for the first time, it is necessary to register a user name and password before you can enter the rooms.

To do this, click on 'Sign Up', fill in the relevant boxes provided with a name you wish to use in chat and a personal password, an e-mail address is also required.

Click on 'Submit registration', you will then be informed of a successful registration, click on the 'log in ' to continue, this will take you into the Chatrooms.

On later visits, all that is required is to enter your nickname and password that you registered into the two relevant boxes, then click on 'Sign In' to enter rooms.

Choosing an Avatar

Once you are in WWS Chat, you are presented with a main box with typed messages on the left and a smaller box on the right listing the curently present members in chat.

To give yourself a picture(avatar) double-click on your nickname on the right, then select the 'change avatar' box to choose a picture of your choice, double-click on chosen pic, then click on 'close' box.

Accessing different rooms

When you are in chat lobby, if you look to the top left of your screen, you will see a small grey box called (room) click on this, then you will see a list of rooms, just double click on the room you want to be in.

These are the basics, there are normally members in chat who can help with any other issues that may arise.
